Like most houses this is the hub. This is where most things are done. Bottles made, heated and washed. Over and over through out the day. Cereal and grubs food is made and portioned out and heated up. Coffee for volunteers made. Tea for snacks made. Dishes washed. I dont think a minute goes by without a dirty dish being made. There are aways stacks of dishes. The Wishy Washy charts call kitchen home. Those tell us at what hour what things should be cleaned. There has to be a schedule for a place this big. The kitchen becomes a meeting place through out the day.
